We can turn off the thermostat and it will pay off by the end of winter!

It's 64 degrees in our Michigan winter home so I needed something to keep my 16 month old baby warm all night. It does. Good: - We saved 10% on our monthly electricity bill by turning off my son's heating and turning him on instead. This sleeping bag will pay for itself before the end of winter! Most nights we dress him up in rompers, socks, fleece pajamas and so on. But I also saw him get warm when he was in a long sleeve jumpsuit, a warm long sleeve t-shirt, light cotton pajama bottoms, socks and all that. It was easy to buy the right size. My son is 16 months old, wears Carter 18 months, Gap 18-24 months and is tall for his age. Medium sized, 10-24 months, ideal. It's about the same size as our XL Halo sleeping bag, but slightly narrower (photo). High quality, very soft fabric. The outer layer is made of soft blue "Minky" fleece (aka: polka dots) and the inner layer is made of soft white cotton. Well constructed. flash quality. Tailoring is strong. There is a fabric collar that prevents the zipper from rubbing against the child's neck. The pile is thicker than our regular fleece Halo sleeping bag, but not so thick that the child is unable to move or is overweight. Armpits to protect the baby who may still be growing in the sleeping bag. The Bad: It wouldn't be a good idea to change a baby's diaper while they're still wearing a sleeping bag as the inner fabric is pure white. - The zipper is "opposite" which means the insertion pin is in the left hand and the slider in the right hand, which wouldn't be a problem if you didn't pull the zipper down instead of up (like yours A coat). It confuses me, but it doesn't bother me. I wish there was a few inches more legroom so my son doesn't outgrow it. I know some brands of sleeping bags have LOTS of legroom for this reason. I'm sure this size will be enough for us for the winter, but if he's having an insane growth spurt, maybe not? Ugly: Nothing, nothing I can think of.
