Review on HELLA Compact Halogen Lamp Power by Andrew Cramer
Good illumination, mediocre base
Good light distribution thanks to the Hella diffuser. It's not white halogen, but it does the job well. The base does not remain permanently connected to the 12V socket. It doesn't twitch, it just loses contact with the contacts and won't turn on until I put it back in. It is best if the outlet is parallel to the floor; The exhaust port in my 1994 Accord is square so the gooseneck curves a bit to fit snugly.
