I read a few reviews before purchasing as all of us and others said it was larger than expected. I was NOT prepared for how big this needle was when it finally arrived. It's much larger than the default icon, about the size of a Communicator icon. If that's what you're looking for, then tweedle-doo has you covered. Otherwise it's pretty clumsy. Its proper quality is descent; It's shiny and gold with no scratches or rough edges BUT the pin that attaches it to whatever you're sticking it to is also on the bottom so it's off center and pulls away so there's a constant point of tension . It will not be flush with where you place it due to poor site selection. Overall I am very disappointed with this needle but will be keeping it because I have craft supplies to fix the awkward needle placement. I do NOT recommend this product.
