Case can be purchased separately:) My previous book didn't have a touchscreen, so that's a bonus for me; my previous book didn't have built-in lighting, so that's a plus for me as well:) Has pros: - Excellent build quality; - My previous book didn't have a touchscreen; - My previous book didn't have built-in lighting:) - It has some nice features, such as an estimate of how much more of the book is left to read and a mode for learning the language; - In general, it seems to be more comfortable and better than the one it replaced in practically every way. It is impossible to operate with gloves on, which means that it cannot be used outdoors in winter; - A bunch of features plus touchscreen plus backlight = less battery life; whereas I was able to charge the previous book for a very long time, this one needs to be charged much more frequently; - A product with a higher class in frost is already scary to use, it will suddenly break: D In general, it is not as well suited for the function of a workhorse as a Kindle that has buttons; - The sickness that afflicts all Kindles is that mobi is the only format of books available on the device, and there is neither epub nor fb2 support. This is something that can be readily accomplished with conversion, and if you've been doing it for a number of years, you probably don't even realize it anymore. However, it is something that might be challenging for people who are not technically savvy.
