At the age of 64 I installed my share of train style curtain rods and never had a problem until I ordered these. It seems that the "mechanism" inside the bar was somehow defective, because all the bar did was slide back and forth and rotate without being pushed from one wall to the other. Having bought this item before the date I knew I would need it after the tenant moved out, I don't think I would be able to return it. I tried contacting Zenna support to see if they would like to send me a replacement but they said they would not. And I had to give it back to Revain. Ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Although the internal mechanism worked as expected, this cornice is very, very weak. Really bad quality. I do not recommend spending money on this product.
