This thing works fine but has a couple of BIG design flaws: 1) You can't tell how close you are to the end of the cartridge so it's pretty much guaranteed that you ' The adhesive substrate is used up during the threading of a piece. It's impossible to tell how much is left in a cartridge, just like when you run out of ink in a printer when you print something, you run out of glue when you print something, which means every piece in the machine is spoiled is. There is no way to salvage a part in a car if it goes out. If the part is hand drawn but then ends up halfway and there's no way to remove the part without destroying it, that's a pretty big design flaw. 2) Another downside is that the cartridges themselves are a huge waste of plastic. I can't stress this point enough - it amazes me that a company can be so ignorant and wasteful. Too much plastic for something disposable. It's a joke how much plastic goes into just one of these cartridges. I haven't used any other sticker machines so I can't compare them but the performance and functionality of this machine is mediocre in my opinion. There's a lot of sticky residue coming out of each piece that you'll need to remove with a decent eraser if you want to cleanly remove excess glue. The resulting stickers are worthy. It mainly covers the backing with adhesive sheeting, but unlike a store-bought sticker, the adhesive sticks on both sides if you remove the backing to reveal the adhesive, creating a rope effect until it eventually peels away from the paper backing, which is a bit annoying . It works out? Yes. Does it do an impressive job? no
