These partitions serve their purpose. I bought this set on purpose because it also included short dividers to connect the long dividers to divide the drawer space even more and I was dying to have it. The long separators stay in place and do their job well, but the shorter elements don't stay in place. I always have to adjust them so little. Maybe I'm just a bit obsessed with precision, and shorter dividers that are a bit out of bounds might not bother anyone, but I can't imagine that kind of person buying drawer dividers. Overall I am happy with my purchase. If I could make a suggestion for improving these shorter pieces, I'd do something with something really tangible on each end instead of the slippery black stuff they currently come with.
