My daughter loves them. She is six years old and can easily put these socks on and take them off. She was playing in the melting snow and there was a puddle of wet red socks in her boot and they didn't leave a drop of paint on her feet. Wash and tumble dry cold and low and the socks will be fluffier (as you'd expect) but undamaged. Definitely something I would buy again if they didn't suddenly start falling apart. Nice bright colors, thick enough to stay warm in winter, stretchy enough to easily dress a frustrated baby, and no color stains. They are too thick to wear under most shoes unless the shoes are too big, they are half the thickness of regular cotton socks.
