Great but not as bright as I was hoping

I was hoping to use this to surround the room as bay lighting. Here's what I found: Pros: Backlight syncs with Alexa. You'll need to download the app, register an account, sync the app with the Alexa app, and then select the correct lighting option from the list to set it up. Once this is done, you don't need to think about it anymore. Just use Alexa and you're done. The single light coil is unique and works well for bay lighting (if only as an ambient light) if you wire it up so the power supply isn't visible in the room. I haven't installed it yet, but I'm going to run a 10 foot 4-pin RGB cable through the wall to the trim. It's difficult, but should work fine. Especially with the single LED strip surrounding the living room. Cons: Seems to be < 9 LEDs per foot. According to my estimates, the total luminous flux is roughly equivalent to that of a single light bulb. It's not nearly as bright as other LED strips, but you're paying 5x more for a mid-range LED lighting system (15,000 lumens RGBW, installed over 60 feet, costs about $170). Initially I was tempted to use them as they really are a great budget ambiance option but as I am trying to make bay lighting the main light source in my living room I will go for it. 200W LED strip system, 15,000-30,000 lumens (36 LEDs per foot).

Cons
