I bought the X-Acto cutting board because of the X-Acto name. I bought it for home schooling and art projects. Initially this product worked well. The blade then dulled very quickly, resulting in protruding cracks and an uneven cut. Then the plastic handle broke off while cutting about 5-8 sheets of paper. This all happened in less than a year from the date of purchase. So I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to buy it for heavy use. If you're buying for random projects, this is probably fine. While I'm disappointed with this particular product, I still support X-Acto products.
