Quality tape and zip. The belt is designed to be cut to length. I found the right length and cut to the same shape as the factory shape with scissors and sealed the cut end with a propane lighter. Great result and it only took 5-10 minutes. The only slight downside is that the buckle is a bit too big but goes through the belt loop with little effort. I can wholeheartedly recommend this belt.
