Affordable, good image quality, compact size and convenience

Summary: Good image quality; Compact oversize (finally this little pocket comes in handy in my laptop bag!); It turned out to be more useful than I expected. I wanted to use it to work while visiting family. There's a spare monitor, keyboard, and mouse, but no hub. I already have a third-party USB-C hub that I have in my home office to connect my laptop to three monitors, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals. It costs over $70 and is a bit bulky, so I didn't want to buy a second one or take this one with me. This hub seemed like a good fit for me, especially with its low price. Coincidentally, a few days after the hub arrived but before the trip, I had to move to another office at work for a few days. Instead of moving my desktop, I decided to use my laptop. I had the Hub unopened in my laptop bag and figured now would be a good time to try it out. There were two monitors so I connected one to my laptop and the other to the hub, plus a keyboard and mouse. Several times a day I had to go to another room and take my laptop with me. It's been nice to have fewer things to unplug from my laptop when I leave and plug back in when I come back. At the end of each day, I unplugged everything and put the hub back in my laptop bag. This and my upcoming trip is quite a use case for such a center, at least for me. Something small and unobtrusive that I keep in my laptop bag for temporary use in places I don't "own" but have a monitor or two and some peripherals to hook up to. The display quality of the video coming from the device was good. The monitors were the same make and model, but I didn't think to check if there was a noticeable difference between the monitor connected to the hub and the monitor connected directly to my laptop. However, the fact that I didn't notice a difference speaks for itself. Of course, I didn't deal intensively with graphics or video. The hub size was smaller than I expected, which is good (see photos). It's flat, thin, light and doesn't add to my laptop bag. It fits perfectly in a small bag which I haven't found a use for yet! Many USB-C hub reviews mention that they wish the cable was longer. However, that's a length for the half-dozen video-capable USB-C hubs I've used or had to install; from generics for $15 to big brands for $200 or more. I suspect the short length is due to the USB-C spec or video output limitation.
