This product takes on the task of adapting Acer's odd, non-standard VESA mount, but there are some serious issues with it, particularly when used with the XG270HU. an unexpected attempt to get it to connect to the monitor itself. It just doesn't fit. Not knowing the allowable pressure caused me to make several mistakes, scratching parts of the back panel. There is a huge gap between the other two 27-inch monitors. The VESA mount itself doesn't sit right in the middle of the monitor, making it about 3 inches taller than my other monitors. Luckily I'll be getting a triple monitor mount soon so hopefully I'll be able to adjust the height of each one. But that's an issue the manufacturer should have paid attention to. In fact, this is the only one of the two adapters you can purchase for this monitor. If it weren't for the gap, I would honestly give it 5 stars, the installation is more or less forgivable.
