Splinter Vomit

This review is for the Sig, Salmon & Herring flavor. I've been gradually transitioning my three "fur babies" off the Friskies and Fancy Feast diets to healthier, more refined foods, and I figured this would work for them given how much they love the flavors of Purinas whitefish and love salmon. Each of them was intrigued by the smell, but didn't take more than a sip or two before turning away. Which is actually weird since each of my ragdolls eats what the other two have left over. So my kids won't eat it. Roll the dice, right? Examining the food as it dried out (and they refused to go near it) I noticed it had white spots on it and vaguely remembered that another reviewer for one of the foods I examined said something about bone said. fragments. I wasn't thinking about organic food! So today I gave one of our street kitties a fresh jar that's as sweet as the day, has a cast-iron stomach, and doesn't have a pretentious taste. I don't mind feeding them a little more. She started to quickly reseal the jar as I left to fill up her bowl with water and talk to another family member and I got back just in time to see her throwing up everything she had eaten and stared at me White splinters of bone were clearly visible in her vomit, while the remainder was a partially digested, uniform brown. Now this girl can eat anything and isn't shy, but something about the food irritated her digestion so much that she literally couldn't contain it. So now I have almost a box of premium groceries left. that I literally can't give it away in good conscience. Instead of throwing it all away, does anyone know what I should do with it? I would now actually like to buy it from Petsmart for €1 more per can as I would then only buy a couple of cans to try it out. :(By the way, my kids love the taste of turkey/duck and don't have any digestive problems.
