Strange zipper only opens on one side. Strong fumes Must be vented before use

I needed a carrier to bring my new kitten home. Here's what I think about it. Pros: 1. Unique Look - I chose this one for its unique look, color and bubble box.2. Flat Packs for Compact Storage - It ships flat and can be fully folded for storage. I figured I would use this carrier very infrequently (only the occasional trip to the vet) so I wanted one that could be packed and stored. DISADVANTAGES: 1. Chemical odors. From the packaging, this carrier gives off chemical fumes, probably due to the adhesives used. I had to use this stretcher right away but unfortunately the smell was still strong after airing it out at night, especially indoors with less air circulation. I don't feel comfortable putting a creature with smoke in it for a long drive, so I borrowed a stretcher from a friendly neighbor. If you have time, it may be on the air in a week or two. I haven't kept it long enough to find it so I can't tell.2. Zipper Design - The zipper design is not very functional. It is a long full length zipper that runs from the opening at one end down to the bottom base and into the opening at the other end. With all the twists and turns, the zipper gets stuck and is difficult to close. Because of the full-length design of the zipper, you can only open one end at a time. If you want to open the other end, you need to zip the zipper around the first opening, bottom down and the other side up. See my video.3. The dome/screen is difficult to remove. The bubble dome and screen can be changed to look different, but they are not easy to change at all.4. Thin handle/strap material. The backpack isn't the best quality, but you can't tell by looking at it unless you look closely at the handles and shoulder straps. The belts seem to give it away. They don't look like they're going to break or anything, but they look flimsy and seem pretty economical.5. Klein-not actually "against", but rather an observation. This is not a great carrier. The dimensions shown are correct. I was going to use it for a kitten so the size suited me. Make sure you choose the size beforehand. Overall this carrier looks good (especially in the photos) and is neatly packaged. But other "cons" made it unsuitable for my needs. I returned mine.
