My "beloved" Yeti eventually lost the vacuum and stopped holding ice on the bedside table with water at night. I had it for probably two years before it failed. Nice mug and I miss the sliding magnetic lid. The beast easily holds ice overnight and I've left it in a hot car for over 24 hours and it still had ice in it. The hinged lid takes some getting used to. It doesn't leak if I tip it on its side, but I wouldn't trust it in a backpack or ride in my car in passenger legroom. The drinking hole is too big in my opinion and chunks of ice can block the flow. I've never been a straw man, especially as I only drink seltzer out of my glass. However, I tried it with the straight straw that came with it and have no regrets. I use a carbonator like Aarke Sodastream and fill this cup 6-7 times a day. Depending on the temperature of the incoming seltzer, I can add ice twice. Cool colors are available, and two stainless steel straws and a straw brush are nice bonuses. Recommend!
