I received them in October. I use them maybe once or twice a week. They sit comfortably in the ears and don't fall out even when you sweat. Now on January 16th I have the first problem, the left side suddenly became numb. After trying to get the earwax off the fabric cover that keeps debris from getting in and damaging the speaker, I was ready to throw it away. Something prompted me to investigate further and I removed the round fabric shade from the device. The problem has been solved. Apparently, the fabric is so finely woven that it easily clogs with earwax, severely affecting performance. I usually wipe my headphones with a cotton swab dipped in baby oil. Baby oil should dissolve earwax. I used to have a pair of Philips headphones that had a thin metal screen that was easy to clean with this process. As a result, I'll be using them without them until I can make a few screens. If I'm done with them on a given day I'll leave them on for a day and let the ear wax harden, it will come out a lot easier.
