I wanted to love this comforter. The price is right, the print is cute, and I really like the slit for a number of reasons. I took this blanket on a hike, slept in a tent in 50 degree weather. I'm freezing in my 60's so I wanted something extra to keep me warm. First, I was warm enough to be comfortable BUT only on high settings. It didn't feel like it was on at all, at a low level. Second, is the heating uneven or intermittent? Part of the blanket was very cozy and part didn't warm at all. Last but not least, the automatic shutdown after only 4 hours is annoying. I woke up frozen in the middle of the night and had to turn it back on. And again early in the morning! I wish it was at least 8 hours! Unfortunately, at $40, this blanket isn't worth the money. I'm thankful it worked ENOUGH to keep me warm while camping, but it's definitely defective and based on the reviews, that's what you get with this product. If you want a good electric blanket, choose something else!
