Review on 🌾 Organic Cotton Standard Pillow by Magnolia Organics: A Sustainable Choice by Alexander Chavis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cotton clouds with zipper.

Did I really want to spend that much on a pillow? With all the strong reviews, it was a difficult decision. The comfort of a pillow is more of a personal preference. FYI, I've liked firm memory foam pillows in the past. I like something with a solid structure, but still not rock hard. I visited several stores that sold pillows. They were all either solid memory foam, fiberfill, or crushed foam. All of the organic pillows appeared to be made from organically coated fiberfill. The price of most of them was about the same or even higher than the Magnolia Organics pillow. Another "organic pillow" on Revain mentioned that it has a zipper that allows you to adjust the firmness and thickness. We've tried a few leaves from Magnolia Organics and they wear very well. So I dared. When it arrived it was fully packed in a sturdy plastic bag so it wouldn't get dirty or contaminated in transit. When I removed the pillow, I smelled "straight from the cotton field" quite strongly. You were in the cotton field, weren't you? I accepted the offer to put it in the dryer. We have a few organic wool drying balls that we usually soak in warm water and add a few drops of Young Living Purification essential oil. The scent of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is a wonderful combination of freshness, florality, cleanliness and calm, so I also added a drop of it to the desiccant balls. I've been sleeping on a pillow for a week now and I love it. I can stack or flatten it.
