Bought this as a father's day gift for my husband to use as a music bag (multiple bindings, psaltery, sheet music). First, it looks a lot more professional than the cloth bag he used before. The central divider is easily removed to make room for all the papers stored inside. Lots of extra pockets all around would be helpful if this bag could be used as a weekend bag. The odor is quite strong upon opening but dissipates after a few days. Lots of velcro and they are not sewn on so I don't think they will last long. In fact, one of the tabs arrives already detached and unusable, but since it's a laptop strap, there's no need to return it. Note that this bag is quite heavy on its own, so keep that in mind when flying. The shoulder strap is wide and durable, making it easy to carry.
