I have some old desktops that I built before USB 3.0, so I later added USB 3.0 cards to the motherboard. The problem is that many peripheral manufacturers include a very short USB 3.0 cable to save money (see attached photos). It works great for a laptop on a desk where it can stand right next to it, but makes plugging and unplugging from the back of a desktop under the table a real chore. especially when you can't get the computer fully out from under the table without disconnecting everything and risking pulling the monitor off the table. So when Revane emailed me touting this Nimaso extension cord for less than $8, I jumped at it. I have previously purchased a USB-C to USB 3.0 cable from Nimaso and have been very impressed with the build quality, reliability etc. This extension cable is made from the same braided material with the same flexible molded connectors. Excellent quality. Now I can route the extension cord and easily plug in what I want, swap out peripherals, etc. Next, I need to connect the USB 3.0 hub to the extension cord and place it on the table so I can support multiple devices at the same time.
