These chairs have a toxic odor. Beware. I put them in the garage and in the yard to fill up and they still stink. I spend a lot of time in China. Chinese furniture often has this problem. When the Chinese buy new furniture, they leave the house with the windows open and the air purifier running at full blast for months before coming back. Safe, non-toxic furniture has only recently entered the market, of course at a much higher price. . Obviously the importer of these chairs either didn't check or doesn't care because the price is cheap. I previously bought the same chair and it had no toxic odor.
