I needed a solution for screwdriving, working with wire, rope etc outdoors in bright sunlight. I ordered them and they work great. I have had cataract surgery in both eyes but still need corrective lenses to be able to work or read well. Tried them as a workaround instead of ordering $150 (+) sunglasses again through my optometrist (was there - did). These high quality readers do exactly what I need and if I scratch or otherwise damage them I can afford to replace them. These readers are lightweight, comfortable and stylish. They have proven to be excellent to drive. I can see well from a distance without correction, but seeing the instrument cluster and other things in the car was tedious, not impossible. These glasses solved that problem too. If you need prescription sunglasses and don't want to spend a ton of money on prescription sunglasses (or wear those awful glasses over a lens clip), these readers can be yours. Answer.
