Probably one of the most creative gifts I've ever seen. The kit contains everything you need to assemble the magic lantern, including a small bottle of glue. The only thing you need to buy is 2 AA batteries. The lantern itself is a transparent, durable plastic jar with a handle. The cover contains a filament and a battery compartment to activate it. There are several fairy paper silhouettes to choose from to make the lantern look unique to you. The instructions are very clear and easy for teenagers to understand and follow (I would suggest putting an old newspaper on the table when assembling the set simply because it has glitter in it). I am very impressed with this set and am already thinking of other young people who will like it. I can only recommend it and look forward to more products from this company. Added a photo of the finished magic candle. My 15 year old loved it
