I like this set overall. The only thing that needs improvement is the app for it, which seems a bit clunky. It's mostly usable, but small glitches with the app's UI make it a bit annoying. The remote control is fine, I hardly ever use it except to toggle the "Extra Bass" function on and off. The device itself is tiny for the power it gives. The Extra Bass feature is also a surprise as you really feel the extra bass without being overwhelming. However, this depends on the files you are listening to, as some songs will have bass over-abundance when Extra Bass is applied. Without the "extra bass" (I'm sure it's also related to the speakers) I find the bass more than enough for a good balance and enjoyable listening experience, but the extra bass delivers deeper resonant punches. I'm totally happy with this little thing that allows me to listen to soothing jazz at night while going to bed (with auto-off feature), or wake up with the morning alarm to the music of my choice, or just background music while I sleep. workday or creative endeavors without disturbing everyone else. I also love the fact that I can record on my main downstairs stereo, turn on bluetooth on my main stereo and listen to the recording in my bedroom thanks to that unit's bluetooth capability. I have Spotify, Tidal and my own music library on my NAS, all of which can be switched at any time. And the best part is that all of these features didn't cost an arm or a leg.
