It would have been 4.5 stars if everything had come out intact. For the price these are pretty good. However, the edges are slightly rough which affects readability and one of the 8 shelves arrived cracked although the outside of the box was undamaged. I put three together to make one long shelf and the rough edges and slight deviations in the corners make the gaps between the shelves more noticeable than I would have liked, but overall it's about as good, as I could expect for the price! I'm glad I knew how to locate and remove the protective film. The film fits perfectly so it really does look like the product is *designed* to be an ugly matte gray but it peels off on both sides and then is nice and crisp (except right around the edges, where the marks are out of production are visible, and of course the one I received is cracked).
