They are ok but not great.
I bought these because I lost all my makeup brushes when I moved and needed a temporary brush set until I found mine. They are very soft but I find this a disadvantage because I cannot blend any product onto my face to save my life. I've never dealt with synthetic brushes before. It's just none of my business. They're hard to work with and I never get the results I want. They get the job done, but I'm a perfectionist and just can't get the results I want with these brushes unlike my other brushes. Thank goodness I found my other brushes. (:
