Lid Does Not Seal Airtight

The glaze on this is quite attractive, but the seal on the lid is not airtight as advertised. Not suitable for food storage and will be returning the item. The gasket that comes on the lid is super thin and really cheap. It's a shame they didn't spend a few extra pennies per unit and put a decent rubber gasket on it.

Pros

The canisters can also be used for non-food items, such as cotton balls, Q-tips, and other bathroom products

Cons

Canisters may not be able to accommodate larger items like cereal
