I ordered 3 backpacks to see which one would be best for my trip and it was the one I expected to like the least and ended up keeping it. I just like his organizational skills. The front pocket is just an open pocket but it holds all the little things I might need on the plane (headphones, lip balm, hand sanitizer etc) and I really like the long slip pocket next to the main pocket - great for maps or documents. I'll only carry a backpack with a zip pocket on the back because that's the safest place for a wallet, and here it is. The side pockets are a little small for water but a bottle fits and is great for a cell phone or a couple of restaurants. Inside there is a large open space with two patch pockets. So the attraction factor is not 100% but it's still very nice, good quality and I love it and look forward to using it on my next trip. It's a bit big (for me) for everyday use, but if you're carrying an iPad or something that size, it's great.
