This product works as it should. The problem is that not all motherboards like the interface. Two of my computers need to be hot swappable. The MSI motherboard HATES this tray. It just stalled and interacted with the installed hard drive for about a minute, and then there was a sound like the head inside the hard drive hit the side panel. Tried different cables, different SATA ports, even flashed the bios to the latest version. NOTHING will work. However, I installed the same tray in a computer with a Tyan motherboard. and works GREAT. Find out.
