I don't understand how it is that in 2020 nobody makes a CD boombox with USB-C charger and internal battery (instead of a socket or 6D batteries) if you live off a boat , in an RV or anywhere else where there is only DC power and no air conditioning, there are very few options for a standalone unit that plays CDs and has its own speaker. Lukasa is the best of them all in terms of sound quality. It doesn't sound very good, but the other two units sounded both muffled and tinny at the same time. Like a really bad old monaural car stereo, but not that loud :( Lukasa's sound quality is acceptable, but it's not a very loud unit. May not work in the car depending on how loud it is (definitely not loud enough to sit in work on my 1973 VW bus, but it's a noisy car) Lucas: - GOOD: sound quality The battery works and has a nominal capacity on the wall, and it's bigger too (which made me hope it had better speakers, but it doesn't work MY BATTERY DID NOT WORK *AT ALL* DESPITE LONG REPEATED CHARGES.
