I love Keens. This is my son's second pair of Keens. I buy them big so he wears them for 2 years. In the first summer they are worn well, a little too big because the straps are adjustable. They are practical, the closed tip protects against pressure points and best of all: they are washable. With my last pair of sons, we didn't have any odor problems the first summer. The second summer they really started to stink, but I was able to fix it easily. Soak them in white vinegar for a while. Then, without rinsing off the vinegar, sprinkle the sandals with baking soda. Leave it on for a few minutes, then throw it in the washing machine (the vinegar and baking soda are still there). Wash normally and then dry in the sun. After only doing it once we didn't smell again for the rest of the summer and they continued to hold up great. The size I feel is accurate. They're expensive, but if you spend a few years in them, they're worth it. We love Keynes.
