Before purchasing this bed I looked through two other beds - a fluffy pillow like the one the pup bit through and pulled out the filling and a thinner one that worked , but did not look very comfortable. I wanted a bed that would fit in his cage. I bought this because it was thicker and I knew the memory foam would be very comfortable. my dog loves it He's only 7 months old but he doesn't bite or scratch at all. I also liked that there is a water-repellent lining on the inside. Perfect for my 24x18 cage. I definitely recommend it.
