Best quality in the price range

I feed my picky cat things like tiki chicken varieties because they don't add a bunch of crappy herbal ingredients to the meat. Garnish with some Nulo turkey and Fussy Cat duck. The problem is they have vegetable oils and some have veggies. not exactly food for the obligatory predator. Although Tiki was the best (and most expensive), I've noticed that after a year my cat has watery eyes, sneezes, and a battle wound not healing properly. Most likely, he developed an allergy to such a large amount of chicken in his diet. Problem: He doesn't like fish, lamb, beef, or turkey, although he's appreciated every now and then, and then gets "old" very quickly. Also, almost every brand has added chicken, even if the label screams "duck!" or "Turkey!" on you. This food brand passed the "two-dose test". You know? You buy a can of food and they eat it with gusto, so relieved you go buy a can or two and next time they might eat a different can, but will most likely look at you like you're trying to poison them? My cat is on the fourth can of both poultry and farmer varieties. (He ate one can of fish but not the second.) The food looks good. Lots of meat (plus unfortunately artificial vitamins that you can't get rid of in canned foods), no vegetable oils or peas/carrots/potatoes and so on. My only problem is that they mix so many different meats together. While I like to give my kitten a chicken break, it would be preferable to have jars that only contain one or two (one regular and one exotic?) to increase variety and reduce the chance of them developing a chicken allergy. all four ingredients before the chicken allergy finally subsides. And so I have to rotate them every week, maybe add a can of fish once a month. Then maybe after a few months go back to Tiki Chicken for a few days and see what happens. With single meat, I was able to expand the variety of the meat (and its specific allergens) and improve its health much longer over the year.
