Review on ๐ŸŽค Singing Machine SML385UBK Bluetooth Microphone: Amplify Your Tunes with Wireless Singing Power! by Mike Lawler

Broke after a month

Seems some of us are having a similar problem. The AC connector on the back of the machine breaks leaving it without power and basically useless. We bought this for our girls aged 10 months 2 years and 4 years to replace another faulty karaoke machine we bought them for Christmas (another model of singing machine that happened to have the sound lost). I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because when it works, it's a lot of fun! Bluetooth was so handy, and while the sound wasn't the best (wish it was louder), small children could only use it to play. The lighting was fun too and my girls loved it while it worked. We've had a lot of fun dance parties and used it every day for a month. But one day he didn't intervene. We checked the PSU, unplugged it and found that the connector's plastic cover was very loose, like it was broken inside. I've included a picture where I pull the cord lightly and you can see the connector is so loose it almost looks like it will come out. I have no idea how it broke. He sat in the corner of the room where he always was. It's portable, so you can expect it to be durable enough to be carried around, although we've never taken it from that spot. So without electricity, it's a brick. My return window was closed 5 days before it broke, so I'm out of luck if I can't analyze and rewrite it somehow. :(

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Doesn't work
