Update: After a few months I'm deducting a star because unfortunately it doesn't hold up well in the wash. The seams come apart, and the parts that are sewn in the middle are torn to pieces. It's still very beautiful. I just want it to hold up better. After what seemed like an endless search and multiple returned bedding sets, I've finally found the perfect set for me! I ordered a king bed, but my bed is a queen bed. I made this because I wanted a larger comforter - I love when the comforter hangs over the sides of my bed and hides everything. The quality seems very high. There are no issues with the stitching, lightweight but not cheap, soft right out of the bag. I bought the king size pillows to fill in the slipcovers and they fit perfectly (in my picture the queen size pillows are in the slipcovers so you can't see the full imitation being used). I have NOT tried Euro Shams yet as I don't have cushions for them. I won't be using a bed skirt as my bed isn't king, but it's also a good quality and type of skirt that sits completely between the mattress and the springs compared to an elasticated sleeve skirt. The decorative pillows are really cute and make the set even prettier. The ONLY downside I have to report is that it's a bit of a cat hair magnet. My cat sleeps on my bed, so there's no avoiding it. I just apply it in the morning with an adhesive roller. The cotton blanket I had before was the same. Not sure if this is a downside for others, but it definitely doesn't fit my standard sized washing machine. I have to take it to the laundry if it needs washing. I knew this could happen when I bought a king size. PS - the dog in the picture was not included in the kit! Rschunimagu. He just wanted to be photographed and I couldn't get him out of the frame.
