Review on AUXITO Mini Size 9012/HIR2 LED Light Bulbs, 80W 16,000LM Per Pair CanBus Ready Conversion Bulb Kit, 400% Brighter, 6500K White, Pack of 2 by Lynn Cole

First these 9012 LED headlights replaced the stock Sylvania SilverStar zXe HIR2 bulbs which were very good compared to the stock 9012. Tonight after seeing the AUXITO HIR2 9012 LED -Had headlights installed, I was able to put them to the test. The first thing you'll notice is the color temperature - very bright, clear daylight. They are very bright with good CR (True Color Display Capability) for nice solid colors. No distortion, dead zones or shadows. The peripheral vision is excellent, so you can see pedestrians very well at night. These bulbs are brighter than the HIR2 bulbs I've used and are very different from other LED replacement bulbs I've used in the past. I installed them on my Chevrolet Volt and there were no problems with the work. Installation was just as easy as standard bulbs, but you will need to follow the instructions to adjust the position of the LEDs so that they are vertical when installed. There is a hex screw that loosens so you can turn it for proper positioning. It requires a bit of trial and error to complete the task. You'll know when it's right when you see a small vertical shadow when you look into the light. Make one, then duplicate the second. So far I'm happy with their performance, I'll report back if I encounter any reliability issues. Update: I've been using these LED blocks for over a year now. I have proven to be very reliable. Performance has not changed, night driving is safer and more enjoyable. I use them in a 2011 Chevrolet Volt that doesn't require a charging adapter. Those with problems don't seem to get it. Tip: Make sure you adjust the alignment of the LEDs, it makes a big difference. Update: It's been over two years now. The best headlights I've ever had! Nice to see they are still in production. So there is nothing more to say that the only evaluation criterion is length of service. If I have a problem I will report it, otherwise no news is good news for the best LED headlights out there.
