Definitely the best writing instrument for 1, 2 year olds. Even older. I bought it for my grandson for Christmas. He will be 2 next month. Of all the things she revived for Christmas this was his favorite and still is. He loves it so much I bought it to take home. He will learn numbers, almost the entire alphabet and learn some numbers. If I knew he would do that, it would become his favorite teaching tool, I would definitely buy it everywhere she goes. Definitely worth the cheap price it was worth. A few times I thought I couldn't do it anymore. Because he spilled his juice on him or even stained him with food. But to be honest, this thing is incredibly strong. Another thing is when you need to change the battery. Mainly because he's always playing with it. It holds up better than most of his toys. This is better than a whiteboard or blackboard as it's messy at this stage. Plus he LOVES it more than anyone else.
