Review on ๐ŸฆŒ Forest Animal Theme 100% Cotton Flannel Baby Receiving Blankets - Stag and Moose 4 Pack by Cindy Hardin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good thickness and quality. Recommended.

I'm not very good at getting blankets but I gifted them to a new mom in the neighborhood and she is very happy with it. There was a time here but they were standard equipment here and I remember being hit hard by various spills and things kids don't do. And I well remember the problem of the cheap ones, which simply fall apart with many washes and normal use. We quickly learned to spend a little more and strive for better quality. There is no doubt that they are very well made. The quality of the seams is very good, strong, straight, does not tear. As for the fact that they're flannel, yes, they're not the thickest you can buy. But they're big and offer plenty of comfort and warmth as you assemble your bundle of joy. If you really like more thickness in one of these, consider switching to a better muslin style. But remember that such blankets are not really intended for warmth, but for comfort and convenience. A thicker blanket just leaves more dirt behind and is harder to clean in my opinion. They serve their purpose well with a young happy mother here. And I am confident that they will weather the various setbacks and setbacks that will follow over the course of the first year or so. Good quality at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Flannel has a weight of 150 gsm (grams per square meter) compared to most flannels on the market that weigh 130-135 gsm; Fabrics have been combed 4 times to add extra softness to the surface of the blanket
Cons
  • Hard to tell
