it is better to connect it through the neck
my shoulder was broken and I had to immobilize it. The doctor's neck sling seemed uncomfortable to me. This brace has long Velcro straps on the waist belt and wrist cuffs that allow for size adjustment and easy maneuverability. I'm 5ft 8in, 135lbs and ordered a size 4.
