After spending so much time at home we have taken up brewing kombucha for our hobby over the last year. We started with a gallon can and quickly transitioned to larger cans as we started drinking more and sharing with friends. We now brew 18 gallons at a time in 4 pitchers and our favorite pitchers are the ones made for water and fitted with brass faucets that pour very slowly. Since we knew we didn't want to use any metal other than high quality stainless steel, we swapped out the nipples right away. These tubes were exactly what we were looking for. They sealed well. Hand tightening wasn't tight enough, so we tightened them up a bit with a wrench. They flow very well. We're a long-run brewer, so we usually pour out the cans about 2 gallons at a time, and with that spout, it quickly overflows into the second fermentation tanks. We keep a small towel handy as there is always a small drip after the flow has stopped, but we've never had a problem with the spigot itself dripping. Faucet Polished Finished is perfect for our brewing needs.
