I've tried every type of cat litter imaginable. Elsey's, FreshSteps, Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Platinum, the world's best cat litter and Purina Tidy Cats. Dr. Elsey's is a long-time customer of mine, highly recommended by vets, and you can have peace of mind knowing it's safe for your cat, too. unfortunately dr Elsey's is almost always sold out at my local pet store and there was also a time when it wasn't available through Revain (it's not available now). It was then that I decided to try Boxiecat, whose main filler was clay. I liked it as I had never seen clay filler ads before but decided to give it a try. Needless to say I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to others! Yes it is overpriced but this item is awesome because it has NO AMMONIA smell which was a huge plus for me. I have some kitty litter scattered around the house and no one wants to go into the laundry room knowing it smells like ammonia. But that, wow! You wouldn't even know I have a cat! lol. What's amazing is that the clumps float on top of the litter so you don't have to spend 3 minutes digging through the tray to look for clumps. But if your cat is going to bury their mess anyway, that's obviously no big deal. But for those with a husband who refuses to spend 3 minutes looking for lumps, it was life changing.
