Turf balls are waterproof on grass pitches. Wilson stopped making white turf balls and now she only has Slazenger in bright green. I've been playing lawn tennis balls since 1954 and have found them to be best for playing on grass, non-clay surfaces. Normal-duty grassballs tend to last longer than extra-duty grassballs.
