More detailed instructions might help with installation, wait

After reading all the other suggestions I was hoping for two protectors if the first didn't go well. Before installation, you need to familiarize yourself with the three layers. This is not clear from the instructions. The first layer is a film that protects the adhesive side. The middle layer is protective, thicker than a nail. The third layer is a positioning film that must remain on the tread during application. Apparently it has two tabs for easy positioning. I was only able to use one tab during the installation. One of the tabs was bent and not visible. If the instructions had told me what to expect, I might have been able to expand and save the tab. This prevented a successful location on the first attempt. As a result, the positioning film was thrown out of the running surface after the first attempt. I had to lift the squeegee card around the corner to remove the protective film. After 3 removals I was able to attach the protector precisely. The screen protector is much thicker than my old iPad screen protectors. Therefore, it was difficult to distinguish the tread from the film used to position the tread. The scraper card is not hard plastic but simply coated cardboard. Most of the cost comes from the packaging, which prevents damage to the tread during transport. All in all, not an incredible value. Could have been happier with a thinner profile. But it doesn't seem to affect touch sensitivity. Only prevents the iPad lid from closing completely.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
