This belt looks really good on the women who have posted photo reviews here. I must have a bigger waist than her. I usually wear a size 10-12 depending on the day of the month but unfortunately I carry most of the weight in the waist area. My waist is about 39 inches. I was concerned that since only the front of this belt is a metallic gold piece and the back is just black elastic, you might see the elastic sides from the front. And it definitely is for me. I'll be wearing the vest at the event I plan on wearing this belt at, so it should hide that fact. Otherwise I wouldn't wear it alone. Actually, I probably wouldn't do that either because it's a nice front view, but who wants people walking next to you and seeing a black rubber band? I also have to say that with my waist size this belt barely closes and creates a little bulge at the top. So that's a shame too.
