This shelf is interesting to collect. It didn't take long and he even has gloves on so he doesn't get his hands caught during assembly. The reason gloves are included is because you have to put the pieces together like a very tight and big jigsaw puzzle. If you're not careful with the angels and the order, you'll hear wood cracking, so it's worth checking before you start. I suggest putting it in place. Once you can put the pieces together for the first time, they move in and out more freely and are easier to adjust afterwards. It's pretty strong and durable for its size. I didn't use the hardware to fully assemble it because it's solid enough without it for now. This is a really nice shelf and it's so compact that it fits almost anywhere, even on top of another shelf or dresser for extra space. In fact, I found it to fit perfectly on the top shelf of one of my closets. I didn't mean to hide it, but it's very helpful by adding a bit more space.
