Told it was made of non-toxic materials. The bed does, however, have a large warning label stating that if anything becomes loose or broken it should be discarded and that it is 'pets only'. I was wondering if it contains toxic materials or toxic fillings. I asked the question to Amazon and emailed the manufacturer. ask directly twice about flame retardants or chemicals and why they must be thrown away when they rupture. The only gem was via Amazon and said no harsh chemicals but no reaction to flame retardants or why the bed would have to be thrown away if the filling was exposed. I'm wary of Chinese-made beds that use toxic materials for pet products. The fact that the warning label says it's for pets only tells me it's not safe for children. And if it's not safe for kids, it's not safe for my pets either.
