I got this camping blanket because I didn't want to use a sleeping bag in the hot summer. This blanket was used for a family trip to an old Victorian 1800's historical mansion we were staying at for a murder mystery party. The floors and beds were a little dusty there and we were told to bring sleeping bags. The old mansion didn't have air conditioning for summers, so we knew it would be hot! It was hot as expected, but so fun and this camping blanket was just awesome for hot summer nights and didn't make me sweat. It is light and comfortable and I love the material it's made out of. I even brought it inside the movie theater and it's just so convenient for traveling, or just having on my sofa to lounge around. Also, the red color isn't exactly red, and I'm glad! It's a dark, maroon red color and very attractive! One of my favorite colors. Great little blanket! Thanks.
