I ordered this at the end of May and have been using it every day since writing this review. I have heavy, long, thick, wavy hair and during the summer I often styled it during the day. I saw these connections on social media but felt safer ordering from Revain. After seeing the ad I was very excited to try them out as the hair ties I used previously didn't hold my hair that well during any activity. I love that there are many color options and you can cut them to the thickness of your hair. I often struggle with ties that are twice too loose around my hair but three times too tight. I was able to trim them to work perfectly 2 times. The downside to this is that once cut, they no longer fit comfortably on my wrist and have left deep indentations around my wrist. They stay in place much better than bands for running and other activities, which was a big plus. I also liked that I can unbuckle them with the clasp and they don't rip my hair when I open them to pull them out of my hair. When I was in a hurry and couldn't find the clasp quickly and pulled it out impatiently, it pulled out more hair than my other ties. Then we have the biggest scam that made me write this review today. After a few weeks of daily use, one day when you wrap it around your hair, the ball at the end breaks off and the tie snaps into your hand or head. You can still use it (it's just shorter) but it's painful and annoying and for the price I expect them to last more than a few weeks. In addition, they leave a dent in the hair. I've tried every hair tie so far, and my favorite option so far is the cheap hair ties. They may not be tight, but they are good and last a long time. The search for the perfect scrunchie continues!
