I installed it in my room. A little tricky to install by one person, but still doable if you pre-drill the right size holes in the right places. I love the fact that you can tilt it, pan it, and adjust it for all sorts of things. Even if you don't think you'll make any adjustments, it's great to have this option later when planning a move. came with oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo with screws and horrible instructions but after getting that sorted I just installed the largest parts that fit. One downside, if any, is that it's about 8-10 inches from the wall. so it sticks out a little. But for me it's also good because it seems like it's floating. literally in the middle of the room and above the closet shelf we have underneath which makes it perfect.
